Animalia, a blockchain-based trading card game, has officially launched its own Layer 1 (L1) chain on the Avalanche mainnet. Powered by AvaCloud, this move aims to enhance game performance, reduce costs, and support the future growth of the Animalia ecosystem. The mainnet launch follows a brief but successful testnet phase earlier in April.
The new L1 chain brings major updates, including a revised $ANIM token with an airdrop and new liquidity pools, as well as a DEX swap for easier in-game transactions. A full NFT migration is also underway, allowing players to carry over assets like Titans and Card Packs. Smart contracts are now fully integrated, enabling smoother development and the rollout of future game features.
Players will also have the opportunity to participate in network validation through staking and node operations. With the infrastructure upgrade complete, the Animalia team plans to introduce new gameplay elements and expand its presence within the Avalanche ecosystem.
