Off The Grid: New Weapons, Faster Fights

Gunzilla Games has dropped a major update for Off The Grid, its cyberpunk-themed battle royale, focused on speeding up combat and expanding in-match rewards.

The most impactful change is a 30% reduction in Time-to-Kill (TTK), making firefights quicker and more intense. To keep things balanced, weapon spread has been increased, especially when firing on the move or in the air. Aim assist has also been improved, and a Ranked Mode is currently being tested in the background to refine matchmaking.

Legendary Weapons have been introduced as powerful, limited-use guns available only during matches. Each comes with pre-installed attachments and boosted stats, but they can’t be kept after the round ends. Players were expecting permanent Legendary items following earlier developer hints, but those—like the highly anticipated Legendary Hexes—have yet to appear.

The new Battle Pass features two themed lines: CleanUp Crew, with gritty post-battle cosmetics and the Hawk LMG, and Hopper Pilot, showcasing futuristic pilot gear and the AZV Pilot weapon. Both tracks include new skins, emotes, and loyalty rewards.

Finally, the “Crash Test Ted” content pack launched with a new character skin and weapon, but it’s received mixed feedback due to similarities with an earlier exclusive design.

Off The Grid remains in Early Access on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, with Gunzilla promising more updates to come.
