Solana Mobile is set to begin shipping its second-generation web3 smartphone, the Solana Seeker, on August 4, 2025. Priced between $450 and $500, the device has already sold 150,000 units, signaling strong demand for mobile crypto technology.
Building on the foundation of its predecessor, the Solana Saga, the Seeker comes equipped with advanced features tailored for the web3 ecosystem. Key highlights include the SeedVault wallet for secure crypto storage, an upgraded Solana dApp Store, and a unique Genesis Token NFT bundled with each device.
Under the hood, the Seeker introduces TEEPIN — a new architecture designed to enable secure, decentralized operations using cryptographic verification. It also paves the way for a native token called SKR, aimed at creating a user-owned mobile platform.
Performance-wise, the Seeker features a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and a 6.36″ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and wireless charging, making it a strong contender in both web3 and mainstream smartphone markets.
As Solana Mobile pushes deeper into blockchain-enabled mobile tech, the Seeker could become a cornerstone for crypto gaming and decentralized applications on the go.
