Mon Studios has officially released Spellborne, its free-to-play monster-catching MMORPG, on Android and iOS. Previously limited to browsers, mobile users can now download the app directly from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, enjoying seamless cross-platform gameplay with the PC version.
Set in the 2D fantasy world of Celestia, Spellborne lets players choose from three hunter types to capture and battle creatures known as Mons. The game combines classic turn-based combat with activities like farming, mining, and fishing, appealing to a broad range of players.
The mobile launch follows a major update introducing a fishing mini-game and the Gold Frenzy event, which offers players bonus rewards. Integration with the Ronin-based Fishing Frenzy adds extra incentives for NFT holders, including in-game chests and cosmetic items.
Spellborne also features robust Web3 mechanics, including tradable NFTs on the Avalanche blockchain and seasonal play-to-earn opportunities through quests, purchases, and social media engagement.
With its mobile debut, Spellborne takes a big step toward wider accessibility and deeper player engagement in the evolving web3 gaming ecosystem.
