Forge has unveiled GameLink and PayLink, two new tools designed to help game developers sell directly to players and build stronger community connections.
GameLink acts as a customizable Link-in-Bio hub made specifically for games. Developers can use it to showcase trailers, share social links, promote store pages like Steam, and collect emails — all in one mobile-optimized page.
PayLink allows developers to integrate direct payments into their games, bypassing traditional app store fees. With just a few minutes of setup, developers can offer alternative checkout options and potentially boost revenue by up to 35%.
“The goal is to give game creators a lightweight, powerful way to control their own storefront and player relationships,” said Forge CEO Kun Gao.
The launch comes as mobile platforms loosen restrictions on external payment links, following Apple’s legal battle with Epic Games. Forge’s tools take advantage of these changes, giving developers more freedom over monetization.
Both tools are free to use, with optional Pro features. Forge, founded by industry veterans including Crunchyroll’s Gao and esports legend Dennis “Thresh” Fong, aims to make marketing and monetization easier for studios of all sizes — especially indies.
